The suspects broke the rear sliding glass door, according to Kinnelon's mayor.
KINNELON, NJ — Four people face charges after burglarizing a Kinnelon home Saturday, according to Mayor James J. Freda. The resident, who was at home, told authorities that the suspects broke through the rear glass sliding door.
Officials received a 911 call at 6:40 p.m. Saturday about the burglary on Denis Drive, Freda said. A suspect entered the house, but the others yelled for them to run to their getaway vehicle, according to authorities.
After they drove off, the resident gave an "excellent description" of the vehicle, according to Freda. While Kinnelon police responded to the scene, they saw the vehicle pass them on Boonton Avenue, Freda said.
