BLOOMINGDALE, NJ — Bloomingdale Police made several arrests between April 25 and May 1, including for drugs, leaving a car after a crash, and more. You can read about those arrests in the blotter, as written by police, here:

On 4/25/19 at 17:07 hours, following several calls concerning an erratic driver, Ptl. Vincent Graziosa was able to locate the vehicle on Main Street and conduct a motor vehicle stop. In speaking to the 25 year old male driver from East Hanover, Ptl. Graziosa observed signs of intoxication. Following several field sobriety tests, the driver was placed under arrest and transported to headquarters for processing. At headquarters the male was charged with driving while intoxicated, failure to possess a vehicle registration and insurance card. Also a search yielded a small amount of suspected marijuana and items used to ingest same. The male was also charged with possession of C.D.S. and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released to the care of a family member pending his court date. His vehicle was impounded.

On 4/29/19 at 10:33 hours, Sgt. David Terpstra stopped a motor vehicle on Glenwild Avenue. After speaking with the driver, Sgt. Terpstra spoke to a 43 year old male passenger out of West Milford. The passenger was discovered to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest out of Pequannock Township. He was arrested and transported to headquarters for processing. He was able to post bail and was released. Ptl. Sami Zeidan assisted with the arrest.

On 4/30/19 at 11:08 hours, Ptl. Sami Zeidan conducted a motor vehicle stop on Main Street. In speaking to the driver, a 20 year old from Newark, Ptl. Zeidan observed signs of C.D.S. use and a search of the vehicle yielded a vape cartridge which contained suspected THC oil. The driver was arrested and transported to headquarters for processing where he was charged with possession of C.D.S., possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of C.D.S. in a motor vehicle and several additional motor vehicle summonses. He was released pending his court date. Sgt. David Terpstra assisted with the arrest.

On 5/1/19 at 07:50 hours, Ptl. Gary Walker responded to the Firemen's Hall for a motor vehicle which had been involved in an accident. On location Ptl. Walker found an unattended green 4 door Acura which was parked on top of a rock wall with the tires barely touching the ground. The vehicle had to be towed off the wall. Later in the day the 51 year old male owner from River Edge was located in Wanaque. He was issued summonses for leaving the scene of an accident, failing to report an accident and improper parking.
