Bloomingdale Police Warn Of ATM 'Skimmer'

Police are looking for help in identifying a suspect.

BLOOMINGDALE, NJ - The Bloomingdale Police are looking for help identifying a person who may have been using a skimming device on and ATM machine in a convenience store.

Between Dec. 26 and Dec, 27 the Bloomingdale Police Department received two reports of fraudulent transactions from victims who reported that their credit/debit cards were compromised after using the Automated Teller Machine (ATM) located at 7-Eleven in the Borough of Bloomingdale.

Police said it was believed that there was a skimming device attached to the ATM at some point but has since been removed.

A suspect was captured on video surveillance throughout various locations where the card numbers have been used and a photo is attached to this post.

Anyone is able to identify the man depicted in the picture is being asked to contact the Bloomingdale Police Detective Bureau at 973-838-0158.
