Butler Had 2nd Highest Rain Total In NJ During April Storms

Only one town saw more rain than Butler did.

BUTLER, NJ — Butler Township saw the second highest amount of rain in the state during Monday's intense storms, according to data provided by the National Weather Service.

Butler saw 3.38 inches of rain as of 12:25 p.m. Monday, the NWS said. The rain totals were provided by a trained spotter.

Only one town got more rain: the Port Reading section of Woodbridge in Middlesex County. A trained spotter reported 3.92 inches of rain as of 11:35 a.m. Monday.
