Butler Lottery Ticket Splits $1M Jackpot

BUTLER, NJ — One of three Jersey Cash Five jackpot winning lottery tickets was sold in Butler. The three tickets will split a $1,028,871 jackpot.

The winning tickets were sold at the following three stores:

  • Middlesex County: 19 Express, 1949 Route 35, South Amboy;
  • Morris County: Quick Chek #162, 1435 Route 23 S., Butler; and
  • Passaic County: C-Town Supermarket, 444 20th Ave., Paterson.

Each of the three tickets is worth $342,957.

The winning numbers for the Thursday, June 20 drawing were 09, 12, 16, 32 and 42 and the XTRA number was 03.

Acting Executive Director James Carey said, “We are thrilled that the winning jackpot tickets were sold at 19 Express, Quick Chek #162 and C-Town Supermarket. The retailers will receive a bonus check for $2,000 for each winning ticket sold. Overnight, they have become three more ‘lucky locations’ for the very fortunate lottery winners.”
