Butler Woman Loses Teaching License After Abuse Charges
The woman, who was previously a special education teacher in Elmwood Park, has lost her teaching license.

BUTLER, NJ — A Butler woman has agreed to forfeit her New Jersey teaching licenses following allegations she abused special education students, officials said.
Ashley L. Frabizzio, 34, of Butler, lost her Teacher of Students with Disabilities Certificate of Eligibility, Teacher of Elementary School in Grades K-5 and Teacher of Preschool-3 Certificates of Eligibility with Advanced Standing and Teacher of Elementary School in Grades K-5 and
Teacher of Preschool-3 certificates, effective May 17, the New Jersey State Board of Examiners ruled.

Frabizzio was first arrested and charged in December 2015, when investigators said she assaulted students at Sixteenth Avenue Elementary School in Elmwood Park. She was charged with teo counts of child abuse and two counts of simple assault at that time.
As part of the license revocation, Frabizzio did not admit to the abuse charges against her.
