Kinnelon Native Wins Two Golds at Collegiate Skydiving Championships
The West Point student won individually and with a team.

KINNELON, NJ— Kinnelon native Joseph Presti won two gold medals last week at the 2016 U.S. Parachute Association National Collegiate Parachuting Championships. Held in Arizona, it is the the oldest and biggest collegiate skydiving event in the world.
Presti and his team won gold in the 6-way speed formation skydiving event for the second consecutive year. In this event, the team leaps from an aircraft and tries to build a pre-designated formation in the fastest time possible.
He also took gold in the team sport accuracy event. In this event, skydivers try to land their parachutes as close as possible to a target while flying across the ground at high speeds.
