Kinnelon Student Honored For Outstanding Vocal Talent
The Kinnelon student was honored at the Mayo PAC last week.

A student from Kinnelon was one of several honored by the Mayo Performing Arts Center as a November Music Student Of The Month for being an outstanding vocalist.
Alexa Giacoio, a senior at Kinnelon High School, was honored on stage before the Nov. 8 concert at Mayo PAC. All the students were nominated by their teachers and chosen by Mayo PAC's education department. At the end of the year, all honored students will be invited to perform in a recital.

Grade 12, Kinnelon High School; Kinnelon; Nominated by Charles LinnellAlexa has been a vital member of the Kinnelon HS Choral Program for four years. During that time, she has earned membership in Region 1 and All-State Chorus, as well as being a valuable section leader in the Chamber Singers and Contemporary Choir. Alexa has also served the program as an officer, elected as secretary last year, and president this year. Her superb combination of talent, drive, and congeniality, make her a perfect candidate for this recognition.
