Morris Co. Man Gets 7 Years In Prison For Child Porn Possession

The Mount Arlington man pleaded guilty in court. Documents say he distributed photos of small children.

MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — A Morris County man was sentenced to seven years in prison for distribution of child pornography, according to Acting U.S. Attorney Rachael A. Honig.

Mark Miller, 63, of Mount Arlington, pleaded guilty to one count of distribution of child pornography.

Case documents say that back in August of 2018, Miller had more than 600 images of child sexual abuse, including ones showing infants and toddlers.

The images included sadistic or masochistic content or other depictions of violence, and sexual abuse or exploitation, according to the New Jersey U.S. attorney's office.

Miller distributed the images on the internet through a publicly available peer-to-peer file-sharing network.

He was also sentenced to five years of supervised release after his time in prison.
