Piccirillo For Council, Martinez For Mayor In Butler Primary

Both are Republican incumbents, and no one has run for the Democratic ballots for those same seats.

BUTLER, NJ — Ryan Martinez won the Republican party's nomination for Mayor and Marc Piccirillo for the open unexpired term seat on the borough council, in Butler, according to unofficial results.

Martinez got 333 votes and Piccirillo got 340.

Both are incumbents, and no one has run for the Democratic ballots for those same seats. There were five write-in ballots cast for the mayor democratic primary and five for borough council.

State Assembly (Democrat)

  • Jay Webber (i): 7,775

Christian E. Barranco:5,552

State Assembly (Republican)

  • Melissa Brown Blaeuer: 4,684
  • Pamela Fadden: 4,645

54,609 ballots were cast in Morris County, representing a voter turnout of 13.97 percent.
