Scalpels and Sculptures: Morristown Artist Creating Unique Pieces for Area Hospitals

Dan Fenelon and Atlantic Health System partner for two-week art and healing event.

Atlantic Health System wants to further infuse its medical centers with the community, and is inviting local artists to be part of a unique opportunity.

Beginning Monday, Nov. 10 at Morristown Medical Center, artist Dan Fenelon, of Morristown, will begin a two-week project where he’ll create a sculpture unique to each of Atlantic Health System’s hospitals.

In doing so, the parent company of Morristown, Overlook, Newton, and Chilton Medical Centers as well as Goryeb Children’s Hospital, is inviting local artists to work alongside Fenelon throughout the two-week experience.
