Stranded Hikers Rescued In Bloomingdale
The two hikers were lost in Norvin Green State Forest.
BLOOMINGDALE, NJ — Police rescued two hikers stranded in the woods over Memorial Day weekend, Bloomingdale Police said in a statement.
Around 6:45 p.m. on May 27, a 911 call was placed reporting two lost hikers in Norvin Green State Forest. Bloomingdale Search and Rescue Team entered the woods looking for the two hikers.
They were found about an hour later in good health, police said. They were taken out of the woods and returned to their cars.
