Get all you need to know right here about curfews, weather and more.
You’ve bought the costumes. You have the pillowcases at the ready. Halloween is upon us; here are five things you need to know about trick-or-treating in Wall:
1. The weather: The National Weather Service is calling for clear skies and fairly mild temperatures that, while they will drop to about freezing overnight, should only fall to about 50 degrees by 10 p.m.
2. The times: Wall has a curfew of 9 p.m. for juveniles who are not accompanied by a parent from now through Sunday, according to township ordinances. Most towns that have set trick-or-treat times have set 2 p.m. to 9 p.m.

3. Supervise children: Kids, especially young ones, get excited by the prospect of trick-or-treating. Make sure someone is with them to ensure they are following traffic rules and trick-or-treat etiquette of knocking only on doors with porch lights on.
4. Check that candy: Make sure wrappers are still tight, and don’t have pinholes or tears, that items are in sealed packages (unless you know the source), and keep the hard candies and small items out of the hands of little ones, to avoid the danger of choking.
