After Months Of Waiting, New Wall ShopRite Has Opening Date
The new ShopRite has been ready for business since November but was held up due to a Dunkin Donuts franchise.

WALL – After months of waiting, it looks like the new ShopRite, located on the corner of Route 35 and 18th Avenue in Wall, finally has a grand opening date.
According to a sign posted in the current ShopRite, located diagonally across the highway, the new store is scheduled to open on May 19 at 7 a.m.
The new store, which was built on the grounds of a Super Foodtown and some adjacent property purchased by parent company Wakefern Food Corporation, was originally supposed to open back in November but was held up by a Dunkin’ franchise that was a part of the old Foodtown structure that was still operating.

The Dunkin’ moved to a new location further down Route 35 last month, paving the way for the finishing touches to be done for the new store’s parking lot.
An email and phone call to Wakefern requesting comment were not returned.
