Allenwood Road To Be Closed Through Mid-December: Cops

WALL, NJ - A portion of Allenwood Road will be closed for over a month in Wall Township, according to local authorities.

Allenwood Road is slated to close between State Route 138 and Hurley Pond Road until approximately Dec. 18, the Wall Township Police Department wrote Friday.

The road will either be closed to through traffic or have an alternating lane shift daily Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

It was not immediately clear what prompted the extended closure.

Motorists are asked to plan extra travel time or take an alternate route, police said.
