Building Evacuated For Suspicious Package
Multiple emergency responders on scene at Route 34 in Wall

Emergency responders continue to converge on a business park on Route 34 in Wall, where county and local authorities have evacuated a building after a report of a suspicious package.
Wall Police Chief Robert L. Brice said the response began at 1:40 p.m., when police responded to 2310 State Highway 34.
The building remains evacuated, with business employees standing in the parking lot of the business’ campus, after a report of a suspicious package was made two hours ago.

Police have not released further information as to the contents of the alleged package or other incident details.
“The building was evacuated as a precaution. Units are still on scene conducting an investigation. As soon as more information is available it will be released,” said Lt. Pete Lokerson in a prepared news release.

However, multiple agencies have responded to the scene: Wall Township Police, Wall Township Office of Emergency Management, South Wall Fire Company, Wall Township EMS, Monmouth County Prosecutors Office, Monmouth County OEM and Neptune Township Hazmat.
