Halloween Trick Or Treating At Central School

Parent-teacher organization puts on spooky good time

It was an idea thrown together at the last minute, but you'd never know it.

And you certainly would never tell the nearly 100 kids at the trick-or-treat event held Monday in the parking lot of Central School that months of preparation didn't go into it.

But the Central Association of Parents and Educators, the Central School parent-teacher association, put together a safe trick or treating experience for Wall kids who missed out on the regular Halloween festivities because of Hurricane Sandy.

The event was held in the school's parking lot, with open hatchbacks serving as front doors and costumed kids traveling from one to the next to recieve their tasty treats.

The event also collected a mountain of supplies to be distributed to the victims of the hurricane ad DJ Jersey Joe donated his services to help put a backbeat to the spookery.
