Herbertsville Road Speed Limit Changes, Detours: Cops
Construction on the main road will begin this week. Here's what you can expect around the area:
WALL, NJ - The Wall Township Police Department recently alerted motorists to traffic changes regarding the Monmouth County Highway Department’s roadway improvement
construction on Herbertsville Road. The project will begin on Thursday, Feb. 18 until October.
The posted speed limit will be lowered to 35 miles per hour while construction is conducted. Motorists are asked to follow all posted detours and directions of traffic control personnel.

Construction will take place Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Motorists are asked to allow extra time for travel while this project is being completed.
Monmouth County is also realigning Allenwood Road to create a four-way intersection and install a traffic signal. Motorists should expect detours and traffic pattern shifts, according to a municipal alert sent out by neighboring Howell Township.
