Incumbents Kean, Thomson And Singer Ready For NJ-30 GOP Election

Both State Senate candidates rand unopposed on Tuesday night.

WALL, NJ – Incumbent State Assemblyman Sean Kean and Edward “Ned” Thompson won the Republican primary on Tuesday night for the two seats representing the 30th Legislative District in the general election this November, beating out former Senate candidate Alter Eliezer Richter.

With the Republican nomination secured, Kean and Thompson will face Democratic challengers Matthew Filosa and Stephen Dobbins, who were unopposed, in the general election this November.

Incumbent State Senator Robert Singer ran unopposed, as did his Democratic challenger Dan Stinger.

The 30th Legislative District includes Avon-by-the-Sea, Belmar, Bradley Beach, Brielle, Farmingdale, Howell Township, Lake Como, Manasquan, Sea Girt, Spring Lake, Spring Lake Heights, and Wall Township in Monmouth County and Lakewood Township and Point Pleasant in Ocean County.
