LAST DAY: Final Brush Pickup Of 2013 In Some Areas Of Wall

Thursday is the last day for Zone 1.

If you live in Zone 1 of the brush pickup map (attached to this story), get your brush out to the curb, because it's the final day that those twigs and sticks will be picked up by the township this year.

After today, the Department of Public Works moves on to Zone 2 and your area will not see another brush pickup until Spring.

Don't say we didn't warn you.

The remainder of the final brush pickup schedule is as follows:

  • Zone 2 – Pick up Monday, Oct. 7
  • Zone 3 – Pick up Monday, Oct. 14
  • Zone 4 -  Pick up Monday, Oct. 21
Brush piles should be no more than four feet in length, with a maximum pile size of 4’x3’x8’, officials said.
