Manasquan Bank VP Completes Prestigious Banking Program

The program includes classes taught by faculty from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

WALL, NJ – Manasquan Bank has announced that one of its Vice Presidents, Ana Ferreira, has earned a Stonier Diploma and University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business Leadership Certificate after completing the American Bankers Association (ABA) Stonier Graduate School of Banking program.

The Stonier Graduate School is an intensive three-year program designed to prepare senior-level bankers for the ever-changing banking environment, address high-level management issues, and implement effective solutions.

Ferreira, who is also head of the bank’s fraud department, is a thirty-year-plus banking professional who started her career with Provident Bank (then known as First Savings Bank).

In 2007, Ferreira transitioned to Metuchen Savings Bank before becoming the Fraud Officer at Manasquan Bank in 2019. Ferreira worked in numerous roles including, BSA Officer, Identity Theft Officer, and Operations Manager.

Before completing the Stonier program, she earned a B.S. in Management Science from Kean University.

“As Fraud Officer, Ana plays an essential role in protecting both our institution and our valued clients and guiding our organization for continued success,” Manasquan Bank Chairman, President, and CEO James S. Vaccaro said in a press release.

“Her intensive training at Stonier will further assist us in identifying the unique challenges our industry faces and how to effectively overcome them. We congratulate and honor Ana upon completion of this prestigious program.”
