
An attic fire at a home on Belmar Boulevard Sunday night was quickly extinguished but injured one person, police said.
Firefighters from the Glendola Fire Department and police responded to the fire at a home on Belmar Boulevard near Martin Road around 9 p.m. The fire was quickly doused in the attic of the home, Sgt. Todd Czech said.
One person suffered minor smoke inhalation but refused treatment. No other injuries were reported, Czech said.
