Navy Veteran to Receive Service Dog at April 28th NJ Fundraiser

Neptune, New Jersey, April19, 2019 --- A Navy veteran will be receiving a service dog as part of the centerpiece event of a fundraiser that is scheduled for Sunday, April 28, 2019 at The Headliner Nightclub in Neptune, New Jersey.
Navy Veteran Shawn Murphy will be receiving his Service K9 during a special ceremony that will take place at the the 5th annual Rebuilding Warriors Fundraiser, which is set for Sunday, April 28, 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Headliner night club in Neptune, NJ.
The fundraiser is for the organization Rebuilding Warriors, a 501(c)3 nonprofit that provides highly trained and socialized service/companion dogs to honorably discharged veterans, as well as first responders, who are suffering from service-related injuries - from amputees to those with traumatic brain injuries to those with PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder).

According to Rebuilding Warriors founder Jeff Anderson, Service K9s have proven to be a great therapeutic relief for those suffering from the emotional side-effects of warfare, and they can have profound effects on veterans' self-esteem and socialization.
The event venue is located at 1401 Route 35 South in Neptune and entertainment includes Live music by Country Artist 40 North and Jersey's own Pat Roddy Band. Guests will enjoy tricky tray, silent auction, 50/50, Barrel of Cheer, and food donated from local restaurants.
