NJ-30 Primary Election Results: Kean, Thomson Win, AP Says
The two incumbent Assemblymen will face Matthew Filosa and Stephen Dobbins in the general election.

WALL, NJ – The Associated Press has called incumbent Assemblyman Sean Kean and Edward “Ned” Thompson the winners of the Republican primary for the two seats representing the 30th Legislative District in the general election this November, beating out former Senate candidate Alter Eliezer Richter.
With 96 of 141 or 68.09 percent of districts in Monmouth and Ocean County reporting, Kean has 47.23 percent of the vote, Thomson with 45.4 percent of the vote, and former Senate candidate Alter Eliezer Richter has 7.37 percent.

Kean has been an assemblyman since 2012, and Thomson has been an assemblyman since 2017.
Kean and Thomson will face Democratic challengers Matthew Filosa and Stephen Dobbins in the general election this November.

The 30th Legislative District includes Avon-by-the-Sea, Belmar, Bradley Beach, Brielle, Farmingdale, Howell Township, Lake Como, Manasquan, Sea Girt, Spring Lake, Spring Lake Heights, and Wall Township in Monmouth County and Lakewood Township and Point Pleasant in Ocean County.
