NJSIAA Wrestling: Wall Turns Attention To District Tournament
The Crimson Knights fell to Delsea on Friday night in the South Jersey Group III championship; the state individual competition begins next

The Wall wrestling team went toe-to-toe with Delsea on Friday night, but in the end, the Crusaders stifled the Crimson Knights, taking the NJSIAA Central Jersey Group III championship with a 33-25 victory, according to the Asbury Park Press.
The Knights now turn their attention to preparing for the district tournament next weekend, where Wall’s wrestlers will begin the quest that they hope will end up on the podium in Atlantic City. The Knights wrestle in District 23 at Brick Memorial.
Wall got victories on Friday from Jack Wishart at 138 pounds, Josh Glantzman (152), Max Von Suskil (182) and Matt McKenzie (195). Unbeaten Denzel Tovar (120) and Max Von Suskil (182) earned major decisions, and Brett Donner won with a 60-second pin at 170.
