Police are investigating a burglary that occurred Wednesday in the northern section of town, authorities said.
The burglary happened during the daytime hours in the area of Route 34 and Belmar Boulevard, according to a release from Sgt. Steven Wolter.
No other information about the burglary was immediately available.

Police are asking residents to be alert of suspicious people or vehicles in their neighborhoods and to contact police immediately to report suspicious activity at (723) 449-4500.
