The repairs will take several months and will close the bikeway as well, police said.

WALL, NJ — Repair work is scheduled to begin soon to shore up the Route 34 bridge over the Edgar Felix Memorial Bikeway, Wall Township police announced.
The construction is scheduled to begin Monday, Sept. 23, and will reduce traffic to one lane in each direction over the bridge.
Part of the Edgar Felix Memorial Bikeway will have to be closed and will be inaccessible to pedestrians and bicyclists while construction crews address the underside of the bridge, the announcement said.
