WALL, NJ – During their June 22 meeting, The Wall Township committee gave a proclamation in honor of the retiring Joseph Lentini for his service to the borough as the director of the public works department.

Lentini has served as director of the public works department since 2014 after working on the New Jersey Turnpike Authority for 30 years.

During his tenure as DPW head, Lentini was behind many projects, including the automation of the borough garbage pick-up system, the Wall Fair's growth, and many road and sewer improvements to the borough.

“I don’t think that proclamation can accurately describe what Joe has done,” Mayor Timothy Farrell said during the meeting.
