Route 34 Closed Until Sunday In Wall After Storm Damage: Police
The storm brought down utility poles and traffic light stanchions along the road, Wall police said.

WALL, NJ — Route 34 will be closed in both directions until Sunday morning in Wall Township while utility crews work to repair and replace utility poles and traffic lights that were damaged in Thursday night's storm.
Wall Township police said the closure is both northbound and southbound on Route 34 from the Collingswood Circle to Interstate 195.
The storm brought down several utility poles and traffic light stanchions, police said. The Triple C Tires commercial building near Monmouth Executive Airport also was damaged. Utility crews from Verizon and Jersey Central Power and Light along with the state Department of Transportation will be working over the next two days to repair the damage, Wall Police Capt. Greg Carpino said.
Route 34 is expected to reopen early Sunday; drivers are asked to follow all detours in the meantime.
