Sea Girt Avenue Closure Planned In Wall
The road closure will last most of one day for tree removal, police said.
WALL, NJ — Wall Township police said Sea Girt Avenue in Wall will be closed on Tuesday, Sept. 17, for a tree removal project.
Jersey Central Power & Light crews will be taking down several trees in the area, a move that reduces the likelihood of power disruptions during storms. Much of Wall Township was without electrical service for several days in July following a powerful storm that tore through Monmouth County.
The closure will be between Old Mill Road and Village Road from approximately 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Wall police said. Motorists are asked to drive with caution in the area, allow for extra travel time and follow the marked detoured traffic pattern.
