New Jersey's Top Doctors For 2017

You don't need to do a Google search to find the best doctors in New Jersey. Because a well-known publication has a search engine that will help you find one in any specialty. New Jersey Monthly asked 24,116 New Jersey doctors to tell the publication which of their fellow practitioners they consider state's best doctors.

The result was the "2017 Jersey Choice list of the state’s 1,117 Top Doctors," as chosen by their peers. Any doctor who has been disciplined for a serious infraction by the state medical examiner was excluded from the list.

The 1,117 top doctors represent 73 medical specialties. New Jersey Monthly commissioned a survey by Leflein Associates, a research firm in Ringwood. Leflein Associates mailed a questionnaire to every doctor licensed in New Jersey for at least five year.

After a preliminary list was drawn up, doctors on a panel were chosen from among the top vote-getters in last year’s survey to make the final selections for this year's list.
