Wall 2017 Holiday Tree Lighting Celebration, Santa Dinner Set

Kick off the season with dinner with Santa Claus (register for it, space is limited), then enjoy the annual Christmas tree lighting.

WALL, NJ — Wall Township is ringing in the Christmas season with a pair of events to bring joy to kids of all ages.

The annual Dinner With Santa is scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 5. The Wall Township Recreation Department says the dinner, which goes from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. is being held at Whole Foods in Wall and you must register in advance because space is limited.

The Christmas tree lighting event begins at 6 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 8, at the municipal building, 2700 Allaire Road, Wall.

There will be Christmas carols, holiday dance performances and a visit from Santa as well. The festivities will be in the outside courtyard and there will be light refreshments inside on the second floor of Town Hall.

Daisy Troop 1723 will be collecting non-perishable food items for the Manasquan Food Pantry. Please bring one or two items to help those in need.
