
A touchdown in the final five minutes of play was not enough to keep the Crimson Knights football team from falling to visiting Matawan Friday.
A husky field goal in the waning seconds of Wall's homecoming game was enough to put Matawan on top for good. The final was 9-7. It was the Knights' third straight loss and puts Wall in fourth in the Shore Conference Class B North division, behind Ocean Township, Long Branch and Matawan.
