Wall Police Seek Toys For Tots Donations

The police department collects the toys that are then distributed by Toys for Tots to those in need.

WALL, NJ — The Wall Township Police Department, in conjunction with Wall Township PBA Local 234 and the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, has established the Wall Township Police Department headquarters as a collection point for the 2017 Toys for Tots campaign.

If you are interested in donating a toy for a child, please drop new, unwrapped toys in the collection boxes positioned in the lobby of the police department's headquarters, day or night.

The deadline for toy drop-offs is Friday, Dec. 15.

Coordinators pick up the toys and take them to central warehouses where the toys are sorted by age and gender. At Christmas, coordinators work with local social welfare agencies, church groups, and other local community agencies, and distribute the toys to the less fortunate children of the community.

While Toys for Tots coordinators organize, coordinate and manage the campaign, the ultimate success depends on the support of the local community and the generosity of the people who donate toys.
