Wall Residents Sound Off on Snow Plowing

WALL, NJ - Winter Storm Jonas brought between two to three feet of snow to New Jersey causing approximately 90,000 power outages and coastal flooding in the southern part of the state.

As of Monday, the State of Emergency has been lifted, power has been restored to most of NJ and bridges and tunnels to New York City have been reopened.

Still, hundreds of New Jersey school districts announced closures and motorists are still warned to drive which extra caution.

We asked Patch readers if they were happy with the plowing done on their block. Here’s what you said:

• “Awesome job in North Wall! They even slowed down and moved away from my driveway while we where shoveling.”

• “Wall did awesome job here at Manasquan Shores.”

• “Yes, but I hope Wall comes back and does our roads again from everyone cleaning off these cars in the street!“

• “My fiancé works for the county. I haven’t seen him since [Friday, Jan. 22] at 7 a.m. He’s been working nonstop.”

• “Looks good, but not about to attempt to drive just yet! They were working real hard [Saturday].”

• “North Wall was plowed a couple times. Our streets look super.”
