Wall School District Estimates $62K in High School Renovations

Bid opening scheduled for June 20

The Wall Township School District is now seeking contractors to bid on an estimated $62,000 project to renovate a lab at the high school.

According to the bid listing, the three-part contract could cost $50,000 in general construction, $6,000 for plumbing and $6,000 for electrical work.

  • convert existing materials and processing lab into a pre-engineering lab
  • Removal of large power equipment
  • various renovations to plumbing and electrical system
  • modifications to the dust collection system
  • removal of existing holding station
  • removal of office and storage room. New VCT flooring, painting of wall and ceilings.
  • Revision of mezzanine door and railing.
  • Existing mechanical equipment and lighting to be revised to accomodate new configuration.

Fraytak Veisz Hopkins Duthie, P.C. is the architectual and planning firm overseeing the plans.

The renovation and reconfiguring of the lab is currently the only open bid request by the district, according to its website. The deadline to submit falls after the June school board meeting.
