WALL, NJ – The Wall Board of Education will be introducing the district’s Safe Return Plan for the upcoming school year at Tuesday’s business meeting.

The Safe Return Plan is a condition that all school districts that received ESSER grants must meet to receive the grants awarded, in Wall’s case, over $2.1 million.

The Safe Return Plan for Wall includes guidelines on how the district will enact mask mandates, social distancing, and contact tracing.

The district’s plan also includes a partnership with the Visiting Nurses Association of Central Jersey (VNACJ) Community Health Center to ensure that teachers and district staff are vaccinated. The district is also looking to find a partnership for on-site vaccinations for students 12 and older.

Tonight’s meeting is in-person but will also be live-streaming on the Board of Education’s Youtube channel starting at 7:30 p.m.
