Wall Schools To Stay With Current Schedule For Rest Of Year
In a letter to parents, Wall's superintendent said that there would be no change to the current plan before the end of the school year.

WALL – The Wall Township School District will not be going back to a full-day in-person schedule this school year, according to school officials.
In a letter to parents mailed out to parents late last week, Dr. Tracy Handerhan, the district’s superintendent of schools, stated that all students would finish the school year in either the in-person half-day or the fully remote program that they are in.
“After much deliberation, I must inform you that WTPS will not be resuming a full-day schedule this school year,” Handerhan said in the letter.

Handerhan also mentioned in the letter that with the loosening of state and federal restrictions regarding the COVID-19 pandemic but after looking at all of the variables, Handerhan decided to stick with the current plan for the rest of the year with the plan for a full return back to a normal school year in September.
“I understand that this decision will not be a popular one with many members of this community. However, after all of the variables, parameters, stakeholder feedback, and my personal observations were considered, I concluded that maintaining the current schedule for the remainder of the school year is the best decision for the school community, long-term,” Handerhan said.
