Wall Township School District Welcomes New Superintendent
Dr. Tracy Handerhan joins Wall Township Public Schools as the new superintendent of schools.
WALL, NJ – Wall Township Public Schools will welcome a new superintendent of schools next month, as Dr. Tracy Handerhan was officially appointed by the Wall Township Board of Education in May. She will begin her duties on July 13.
Henderhan has served for over 20 years in educational administrative roles, including a position on the Interlaken Board of Education for nine years. She began her educational career as a math teacher at Manchester Township High School in Manchester, NJ where she was promoted to mathematics and science supervisor for grades K-12. Henderhan also served as the director of curriculum and instruction in the Shore Regional High School District for five years and as principal of Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School for 13 years.
“It was important for me to remain in each administrative position for at least five years,” said Henderhan in a statement. “In doing so, I was able to dig deep, develop outstanding and rewarding professional relationships, and see the ‘educational magic’ happen when a district’s vision is realized. When everyone works together towards a common mission, the students reap the rewards.”
