2 Major North Jersey Rivers Forecast To Flood
The Passaic River is already at 'minor flood' stage. And it will only get worse. The Pequannock River is forecast to crest at flood stage.

PASSAIC COUNTY, NJ — Two major North Jersey rivers are forecast to flood sometime within the next day, according to forecasters.
The Pequannock River in Macopin is forecast to crest at 5.5 feet Tuesday, flood gauges from the National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration show.
The Passaic River in Pine Brook was already at flood stage, at just under 20 feet, as of Tuesday morning. It is expected to crest at 20.3 feet sometime in between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.

The Pompton River at Pompton Plains is at "action" stage at 14.2 feet. Flood stage for the river at that location is 16 feet.
Steady rain this week caused flash floods on roads in South Jersey, including Point Pleasant.
