WAYNE, NJ – A butchery-restaurant is coming soon to Wayne.
Prime Fusion 23, which will offer fine casual dining and a butcher/meat counter, aims to open sometime in April.
At the restaurant, Chef Rudy Straker aims to give patrons "a fine dining meal in a casual environment" at an affordable price - within 10 minutes or less, according to Prime Fusion 23's website. Patrons will order at a counter, take a seat at a table and sit back while their meals are served by restaurant staff.

Straker's menu features dishes made from scratch daily, using locally sourced, all-natural ingredients and with USDA Prime meats.

On the restaurant's website, Straker said the menu “is the culmination of his travels and experiences” and is “meat-centric." Its focus, he said, is on USDA Prime meats, hardwood smoked BBQ with Asian sauces and glazes, steaks, chops, fish and seafoods.
Delivery is available from the restaurant and the butcher.
