Election Day In Passaic County: When, Where To Vote.

PASSAIC COUNTY, NJ — With the General Election being conducted primarily by mail, and polling places reduced due to the coronavirus pandemic, there are still several options to make sure your vote is counted.
In Passaic County that includes voting at a polling location, using a secure drop box, mailing your ballot back or hand delivering it to your local board of elections.

Who and What Am I Voting For?
- President: Representing the nation’s two major parties are sitting Republican President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence. Democratic former Vice President Joe Biden and Sen. Kamala Harris are challenging. Also on the ballot are: Don Blankenship/William Mohr (Constitution Party); Howie Hawkins/Angela Nicole Walker (Green); Jo Jorgensen/Spike Cohen (Libertarian); Gloria La Riva/Sunil Freeman (Party for Socialism and Liberation); Roque De La Fuente/Darcy Richardson (The Alliance Party) and Bill Hammons/Eric Bodenstab (Unity Party).
- U.S. Congress: One US Senate seat will be contested: Incumbent Democrat Cory Booker will face Republican Rik Mehta. All 12 of the state's congressional seats will be decided. New Jersey's delegation to the U.S. House of Representatives is split between 10 Democrats and two Republicans heading into Election Day. See congressional races on your local ballot here.
- Marijuana legalization and other ballot questions: Voters will decide whether to legalize the possession and use of marijuana. Voters will also decide whether to makes peacetime veterans eligible to receive the veterans' property tax deduction. (For more on marijuana legalization, click here.)

The boxes are all outside and under surveillance 24/7. They resemble a USPS Blue Mailbox, but are Red, White & Blue and display "Bergen County — Official Ballot Drop Box."
The Vote-By-Mail ballots (VBMs) will be picked up on a daily basis and brought to the Board of Elections. All security measures will be followed when collecting and transporting the VBMs, officials said.
