Fire In Paterson Injures Fire Captain, Displaces Dozens: Report

PATERSON, NJ — One firefighter was injured and dozens of people displaced after a massive three-alarm fire tore through a residential building in Paterson during the early morning hours Saturday.
The fire broke out just after 2 a.m. Saturday at a two-story building at 30-32 N. Seventh St., Andrew Ricciardi, deputy chief of the Paterson Fire Department, told NJ.com.
A captain with the Paterson Fire Department suffered a burn injury while fighting the blaze, NJ.com reported. He was taken to Saint Barnabas Medical Center for treatment.
