Food Truck Festival Coming To Passaic County

The county will host the first of what will become an annual food truck festival this weekend in Clifton.

CLIFTON, NJ — More than a dozen food trucks are poised to set up shop in Clifton this weekend for Passaic County's first annual food truck festival.

The county will host the event in conjunction with the Friends of Passaic County Parks, Inc., and MegaBite Events, at Weasel Brook Park from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday.

Approximately 20 food trucks are booked for the event, county officials announced, and Passaic County's Ghost Hawk Beer will also be present. Live music and other entertainment options — hatchet toss, boardwalk games, face painting — will also be available.

As much as the festival is a celebration of local business, it is also a celebration of Passaic County parks, local officials said.

"Spending the day surrounded by friends, family and food is exactly what our parks are for," said Alice Szepietowski, chairperson of the Friends of Passaic County Parks.

"We are grateful that the County of Passaic has supported, not only this food festival, but all of our parks throughout the County."
