WAYNE, NJ — Local author and Glen Rock resident Veronica McFall will host three separate book signings this weekend in Wayne.

McFall's first book, "A Visit to The Bahamas from A to Z", was released this month.

A children's book, "A Visit to The Bahamas from A to Z" follows Dato the Fact Cat, a bilingual cat who speaks Spanish and English, loves to travel and, most importantly, eat.

Dato connects with three young explorers who, through their travels, become immersed in the history, culture, geography and wildlife of the Bahamas.

The book signings are scheduled at Bahama Breeze, 101 NJ-23 South, in Wayne for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Each signing is scheduled for 4 to 9 p.m.

This is the first entry into the Dato the Fact Cat and the Voyagers series, with illustrations by R.J. Jenkins, a visual arts teacher at Kents Hill School in Kents Hill, Maine.
