Heart of New Jersey toasts to a healthier community on June 3rd
The NJ Heart Ball addresses key issues impacting the health of New Jersey, especially those impacted by heart disease and stroke.
The American Heart Association, the world’s leading nonprofit organization focused on heart and brain health for all, is going “beyond the table” this year to further the commitment of the annual New Jersey Heart Ball. Anchored in a new year-round activation, this heart health endeavor will not only be a digital celebration but will continue to raise funds and create awareness throughout the year in efforts to better our community’s overall health.
“The New Jersey Heart Ball is a great opportunity to highlight the advancements we have made with heart disease and stroke in our community. Our work is far from over and I want to help be a part of the solution by raising critical funds for research and make a difference for future generations,” said Paige Dworak, FACHE, president and chief executive officer at East Orange General Hospital and 2021 Heart of New Jersey chair.
The hour-long digital experience will be held on Thursday, June 3rd at 8:00pm and will feature returning emcee and auctioneer Pat Tully, owner at Pat Tully, Inc., a live auction with incredible items up for bid, an inspiring survivor story from Rosie Veltz, and a closing musical performance from multi-platinum, seven-time Grammy winning country trio, Lady A!
