Nicholas Theobald, 33, Of Wayne Died In His Mom's Arms
Theobald was unable to turn away anyone or anything in need, his family said.

WAYNE, NJ — Nicholas J. Theoblad had an immense compassion that knew no bounds.
He would bring people home and give them a hot meal and a warm bed, his family said in his obituary. He was kind to animals and would bring them home, too.
Theobald, 33, died Monday in his mother's arms.

Theobald was a "caring, giving, loving, and considerate person," his family said. "He had a huge heart and was always trying to help others less fortunate than himself."
One of Theobald's goals in life was to create an animal rescue organization.

"He was unable to turn away anyone or anything in need," his family said. "He had a very special soul and immense compassion. The world was a better place with Nicholas in it."
Theoblad was born and raised in Wayne. He was graduated from Wayne Valley High School in 2003. He attended Morris County Community College where he studied criminal justice. In 2006, he went to the Roman Academy of Beauty Culture in Hawthorne. He worked as a laborer in the construction industry.
He was predeceased by his grandfather, Sgt. Walter J. Greyshock, high school sweetheart and girlfriend of many years, Amanda Schwake, and Jessica Gelok, the obituary states.
He is survived by his parents, Elizabeth Wells and her husband Roger of Wayne; grandmother, Martha C. Greyshock; uncles Paul and Christopher Greyshock; aunt Victoria Greyshock; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation with the family is 4 to 7 p.m. at Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home, 567 Ratzer Road, Wayne. A funeral service will be held just after the visitation hours are concluded.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to a GoFundMe page set up by Elizabeth Wells to help pay for her son's burial.
