Meet Wayne Animal Shelter's 'Pet Of The Week'

Say hello to Nahla.

WAYNE, NJ – Say hello to Nahla.

The pup is well-trained, knows her commands, is a great walker and will make a wonderful family dog, according to the shelter.

She previously lived in a home with a cat for seven years, so Nahla is “definitely cat friendly,” the shelter said. She also gets along well with other dogs.

“As soon as you see Nahla, she’ll let you know how pleased she is to meet you. She adores people and wants only to be with you and be part of what you’re doing. This beautiful dog with her gorgeous eyelashes radiates pure love. In fact on her side there’s a black patch in the shape of a heart making her a total sweetheart,” the shelter said.

For further information, call 973-694-0767 during the shelter's adoption hours, which are Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6 to 8 p.m., and from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
