NJ Transit Implements Severe Weather Schedule Ahead Of Storm

Bus and light rail services are anticipated to operate regular weekday schedules as long as weather conditions permit.

NJ Transit has implemented a severe weather schedule for its rail system for Wednesday as a nor'easter is forecast to bury much of the state in several inches of snow.

The schedule is a limited weekday scheduled that is used during emergency weather situations.

Cross-honoring will be in effect on NJ Transit bus, private bus carriers, rail, light rail and PATH at Newark, Hoboken and 33rd St. in New York. It is not anticipated that New York Waterway will cross-honor tickets. (See Related: NJ Weather: Winter Storm Warning, 18" Nor'easter Snow Forecast)
