Passaic County Firefighters’ Holiday Parade Is Nov. 30
The parade will feature fire trucks and first responder vehicles decked out in lights.

PASSAIC COUNTY, NJ – After the cancellation of the Wallington Fire Department's Annual Holiday Parade, firefighters in Totowa and Woodland Park organized a new kick off to the holiday season.
Scheduled for Nov. 30, the parade will feature fire trucks and first responder vehicles decked out for the holidays and include a visit from Santa Claus.
The parade has a 6 p.m. start from 515 Union Boulevard in Totowa and ends in Woodland Park, at 1070 McBride Avenue. Spectators can check out the parade from several locations, including Union Boulevard and Totowa Road down to the Hillary Street Bridge and McBride Avenue in the area of Hillary Street.

Parade-goers are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped gift to be donated to less than fortunate local children this holiday season. During the parade, Santa’s little helpers will collect the gifts and place in St. Nick’s sleigh.
If the fire departments have leftover gifts after distributing to local families, the remaining donations will be given to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

For the past 17 years, Wallington Fire Department's parade was one of northern New Jersey's most well-known holiday events, drawing hundreds of decorated fire trucks and first responder vehicles from across the region, as well as thousands of spectators to the small Bergen County community.
The department announced last month it would be cancelling this year's parade due to rising costs and fewer volunteers to help with planning but hopes to organize one in 2020.
